Industrial Museum Brandenburg
The Technical Memorial Siemens-Martin-Furnace is the heart of the Industrial Museum in Brandenburg an der Havel. The furnace is equipped with systems for feeding, melting and casting steel. The production of steel from scraps is a special feature. Visitors equipped with smock and helmet can explore the casting bay, furnace hall and the lower furnace area and follow in the footsteps of steel workers in the control stand, in the workshops, in the foreman's room and in the laboratory. The Siemens-Martin Furnace can be explored from the inside and from the outside. The exhibitions in the Industrial Museum document the history of the steel production location Brandenburg as well as the history of steel production worldwide.
