Potsdam Museum

The Potsdam Museum is located in the Old Townhall on the market square "Alter Markt". It offers an appropriate place for museum exhibitions, events and discussions to reflect the many facets of the city in past and present. An exhibition is structured into eleven modules and explores the history of the city, their civic formation as well as artistic and cultural developments. It follows a special biographical approach and deals with aspects such as military, craft, science and residence. Original exhibits, furniture, textiles, paintings, sculptures, plans as well as models, listening and media stations present visitors with the opportunity to dive into great detail. Special exhibitions about the art and cultural history and different presentation formats are also available.
