Home Parlor Rehfelde

The home parlor in Rehfelde, the green gate of the Märkische Schweiz nature park, has been in existence since October of 2002. The small museum is supported by the Association "Rehfeld Homestead Friends" and represents a place of remembrance, culture, education and encounter. The homestead houses a permanent exhibition about the history of Rehfeld, a homestead archive incl. reading corner, DVD, CD and video screening technology as well as the opportunity to borrow literature about local history. Several times a year, special exhibitions take place, primarily about local history. The permanent exhibition illustrates farm life but also industry and crafts in Rehfelde as well as the local fire department, the Eastern railway and the school history.
