Heimatstube Uebigau
The museum housed in a timber-frame house from the 18th century shows a thematically colourful potpourri of history of Uebigau and its surroundings. What is on display here, among other things, are a living room, a laundry room and a kitchen, furnished just as they were around 1900, a bed room, a historical drug store, including puppet rooms and a collection of figures made of tin. In the court yard of the museum is a reconstructed village of the Bronze age. Children and grownups can grind grains, bake flatbread and prepare for themselves a healthy herbal tea or a soup fortified with wild-herbs.
