Friedrich-Wolf Society e.V. Lehnitz

The former residence of Friedrich Wolf and his wife Else Wolf is the home of the memorial of the doctor and author. Details of the life and work of the playwright who was born in 1888 as well as the activities of the society are presented. Friedrich Wolf was politically active and attempted to transform social circumstances through his literature. Through the sheer number of activities and events, such as cooperations with schools, readings, discussions, lectures and film screenings, the building has become an important location in Lehnitz and surroundings. The residence and furnishings have been largely preserved and are accessible to the public.
