Havelland artists’ colony of Ferch
At the end of the 19th century, many artists came to the region bordering the Schwielowsee lake to create landscape paintings of the scenic outdoors here in tranquil surroundings. The museum, situated in a restored Kossaertenhaus in Ferch, presents works emerging from this “artists’ colony” in changing exhibitions. Moreover, related events are held regularly, and the offer of a hiking tour along the pathway of art in Ferch can be quite exciting.
