Museum Barberini Potsdam
The Museum Barberini is the art museum in the historic center of Potsdam, donated by SAP founder and patron Hasso Plattner. Since its opening in 2017, the museum has made a name for itself with international exhibitions and the donor's important collection of impressionist paintings established itself as one of the most visited art museums in Germany.
Collecting, researching, presenting, communicating and inspiring - these are the aims of the Museum Barberini. In addition to the Hasso Plattner Collection, it presents up to three exhibitions a year in cooperation with international partners. Whether Pablo Picasso, Vincent van Gogh, Rembrandt or Gerhard Richter, antique sculptures, French Impressionism or Baroque painting - the Museum Barberini is dedicated to all styles and epochs and always opens up new perspectives on art.
