Oderbruch Museum Altranft - Workshop for Rural Culture

The museum presents the history and present of life in the Oderbruch landscape and engages in the current challenges of country life in annual focal points. Numerous historical objects illustrate the themes of the exhibition. The reception of the museum, the exhibitions, the museum café and shop are all located in the manor house. This ensemble is complemented by the quaint Dorfanger church from the 18th century, a historical fire engine house, a farm, a blacksmith's shop and a fisherman's house. The village can be explored by a guided walk, during which people from Altranft impart experiences of the surroundings. The museum offers workshops dedicated to scenic education, ranging from craftsmanship to landscape change.
