Museum "Old Postal Station" Beelitz

The exhibition offers visitors a glimpse behind the scenes of the Prussian postal system from 250 years ago. Historical maps, coach tickets and other receipts visualize the administrative challenges while travel reports help visitors to understand the nature of traveling by stage coach. The exhibits present a sensual impression of the daily work routines which is delightfully complemented by acoustic snapshots in the listening stations. The museum is housed in the "Old Post Station" on the route Berlin - Leipzig.
