Historical Mill Potsdam
The Mill Association Berlin-Brandenburg has been operating the windmill as a museum on behalf of the Foundation for Prussian Castles and Gardens Berlin-Brandenburg since 1995. A post mill existed at this location as early as 1738. The permanent exhibition revolves around the cultural landscape and mills, manual windmills of the 18th and 19th century and the history of the historical mill up to the present, and is equipped with workstations, inviting visitors to try out some of the mill-related activities. The milling technology is regularly used within the museum to process grain. The gallery was actually the work level for operating the wings of the mill and is now a viewing platform.
