Heidekrautbahn rail museum of Basdorf

The Heidekrautbahn museum is located in the apprentice workshop of the former engine shed in the village Basdorf. Through the exhibits visitors come to know everything about the history of the railroad in the district Niederbarnim (Niederbarnimer Eisenbahn AG). In the old rail car halls, huge steam and diesel locomotives as well as a rail bus can be viewed. The rail tours with the museum train, organized regularly, are a must for grownups and children on the main line of Heidekrautbahn.
