Inland Navigation Museum Oderberg
The former museum of local history with exhibits from prehistory and early history has continued to develop due to the former importance of Oderberg as a city with significance for inland water navigation. It boasts 15 exhibition rooms which inform of shipbuilding in Oderberg, shipping along the Oder river, the ship hoist Niederfinow (old and new), the fishing industry and the life of the citizens in Oderberg from past centuries until modern times. Special exhibitions and events provide the opportunity to dive into topics in greater detail. A highlight is the museum steam ship Riesa in the open-air exhibition.
