Museum Lübben Palace
The modern museum in the old Saxonian palace focuses on the presentation of the history of the Lower Lusatia region, the folklore and archeology, especially the city of Lübben. An interactive model of the city visualizes the old royal seat of the margraviate Lower Lusatia. A portrayal of the Spreewald region and an exhibition about early history and prehistory offer visitors insight into the area. Among the highlights of the exhibition are a medieval treasure as well as the historical coat of arms hall. Audiovisual stations add another layer of information. Regularly changing exhibitions further explore various aspects of the city history.
