Museum Alexandrowka Potsdam

There is a special kind of private museum in the Russian colony Alexandrowka. One of the residences, an accessible architectural monument, explores the historical background leading to the foundation in 1826. Historical testaments illustrate the life of the inhabitants. The premises are held in Biedermeier style and are managed by the Potsdam Foundation Kremer. The surrounding garden was designed by the landscape artist Peter Joseph Lenné. Visitors can look forward to the exhibition, a museum shop as well as a café which is perfect for enjoying some tea in the orchard.
