Musicians’ Museum Bad Saarow
Opened in 2014, the Museum for Music is located in the house of the Scharwenka family which was built by the internationally renowned composer and music educator Xaver Scharwenka (1850 - 1924). Its focus is the music of the 19th century and early 20th century. In addition to an exhibition about various artists with a connection to Bad Saarow, the museum presents the work of the brothers Xaver and Philipp Scharwenka. Visitors are invited to individually experience musical pieces by various Romance composers. One special feature of the museum is the mechanical piano being played by the invisible hand.
