Exhibition and Memorial Albrecht Daniel Thaer in Möglin
The exhibition provides information about the life and work of the medical professional, statesman and agricultural scientist Albrecht Daniel Thaer (1752 - 1828). Thaer paved the way for extensive reforms in the agriculture of Brandenburg-Prussia. The 400-year old manor house, in which Thaer lived, as well as the park with his tomb and a bust are located in the immediate vicinity of the exhibition. Another small exhibition about Thaer is housed in the village church next to the manor park. On the 200th anniversary of the foundation of the agricultural academy in Möglin in 2006, a boulder was placed in the center of town.
